When sending emails through LeadSimple, we often BCC internal staff members (property managers, admins, assistants) for visibility and record-keeping. Currently, when an email is marked as “opened,” there is no way to tell whether the open was by the intended recipient (e.g., tenant/owner/vendor) or by an internal BCC’d staff member.
This creates confusion and operational risk, as it can appear that a tenant or owner has opened and seen a message when in fact only an internal staff member has viewed it.
Requested Enhancement Options (any of the below would solve the issue):
Display which recipient opened the email (primary recipient vs. BCC).
Exclude BCC recipients from open-tracking metrics.
Provide separate open indicators for external recipients and internal/BCC recipients.
This improvement would significantly enhance communication accuracy, follow-up timing, and compliance documentation for property management workflows.
Thank you!
